Please have a thought for Gracey

The poor old girl has died.

She was my pall for many years.

Life's empty now she's gone.

Although Grace still lives in our hearts.

Her baskets laying empty

her blanket has gone cold

Please have a thought for Gracey

A good and faithful girl.

It hurts bad, I know, I've been there. Be thankful she had a good,
long life, and rest in the knowledge you did everything you could for
her. "What ifs" are pointless - the grieving will take it's time -
and it will pass!

You'll never "replace" her - so don't try, but there are hundreds of
dogs out there in need of homes, and her best legacy would be to
bequeath her place to another dog in need of a loving home.
