Nice. I've got a similar clip with one of my previous dogs giving the local
pheasants hell. A couple of days later I got absolute hell from the farmer
who was waiting for me to appear. Told me to stop worrying "his" pheasants.
Apparently he needed them fat to be able to shoot them (slow 'em down a bit,
he said) and sell onto the butchers. Bloody cheek.

I keep Border Collies, and currently have the fourth lodger in 30 years
living with me. The first two were cross breeds, and the 3rd was a fully
trained working sheep dog given to me by mistake by the rehome centre. Wrong
dog that was carrying 4 pups in her belly, so that cost them dear, since
they were a dog and shepherd training establishment. Sold all 4 pups as BC
mixes, since I had no paper work to back them up. All 4 of my dogs were/are
rescue dogs, and I won't have any other breed. The latest incumbent, Molly,
is an eight year old tri-merle that I've had for 5 years. Best described as
a fully trained idiot compared to the previous one.

Melody, the working dog, actually went a long way to saving my life. I'd had
her for 18 months when I had a stroke. She jumped the back fence and went
down the road to alert some friends that something was wrong, and they came
round and found me somewhat disoriented, completely numb down my right hand
side, and unable to speak. Everything worked out fine after that, but
without her actions, I'm not sure how I would have alerted anyone. "Man's
best friend" is not a title given lightly to the right dogs.

That's a fantastic story!
