Hiya everyone

I'm not a spammer, honest, I've just got a few quick questions and wasn't
sure which group to send the message to so I'm sending it to you all as
I'm subscribed to all these groups!

I sent this (below) to someone from their website this morning and was
wondering if anyone could answer my questions for me please?

Steve (my husband) and I are thinking of getting a Golden Retriever as
they have been recommended for their personality but I was wondering if
you could tell me more about your dogs and Golden Retrievers in general
please?

We live in a mid terraced house with a small garden (not sure what else
to call it... it's got concrete on the ground and is about 6 foot by 12
foot with high walls all round it) but there is a park just up the road
from us and a big park about a mile away where we would walk the dog.

Thing is though, I'm not very steady on my feet so need to know if Golden
Retrievers would pull on the lead or if they would walk to heel without
much training?

Steve works but I'm here all day every day so would be able to look after
the dog and we would take it for walks when Steve gets home from work...
also, what are Golden Retrievers like with other dogs as Steve's family
have a dog and we would take the dog with us when we visited them... are
they very social or not really?

Both of us are used to having dogs as I got a Cairn Terrier when I was 11
years old as encouragement for injecting Growth Hormone and Steve and his
family have always had a dog so we both know what to expect generally, we
just need more information about Golden Retrievers in particular.

Any advice you can give me would be great! Thank you!
